Draining old rice field for Humble's Baytown Refinery; "First work done at Baytown Refinery after clearing part of the site was to drain the old rice field. Field was drained by digging East draining ditch with this steam-driven excavating machine. Photo was made July 18 1919 near where the old North Corral was later located. Water well is being drilled in background."
