The tailing rig was unshackled and the splitter was slowly rotated until it was over the anchor bolts on the foundation. The February 1978 account of the transport and erection of the olefins tower in the Olefins Plant near Exxon. This is the biggest fractionating tower ever built. The pictures are in order that the tower was raised.
