The convention was held at Lamar Hotel in Houston, 1935. Club was organized by Harold A. Halsey at Baytown to help boost sales of Humble products during the depression. The club was so successful that more clubs were organized throughout the company and accounted for $50,000 additional sales in its second year. Man in first row, aisle seat, second section in Norman D'Olive, public relations and editor of the "Humble Bee". Man in front row, extreme right, is Hick Latham from Baytown Clubs sent delegates to annual conclave in Houston.
