This is the first wagon-load of equipment being brought in to build the Humble Refinery. This picture was taken behind 2301 Decker (Decker & Airhart.) This is the location of the former Offshore Restaurant preceding Tower Restaurant. Note the men’s shoes drying on top of the box. In describing this era one of the old-timers reported that it rained for 128 days straight.
