Parade scenes from 1936, showing the float sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Baytown Booster Club and the Humble court; "A large float was sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Baytown Booster Club. Humble household specialities were presented by children of employees dressed in brilliant costumes. Occupying a throne atop a miniature oil derrick was the queen of the float little Miss Julie Ann Farned as Miss Humble who was attended by her court Bernice Perry as Miss Esso Juanita Ellis as a mosquito who tried to avoid the deadly effects of Ted McCall's Flit gun Ted being dressed as a Flit soldier Jackie Kraft as Cleaner W. Yvonne Ponton as Miss Humble Furniture Polish Ruth Jean Donnelly as Miss Texas and Bobbie Mayeur as Uncle Sam."
