Humble Oil & Refining dock area, circa 1920; No. 1 dock is on extreme right, lower section showing tanker. Right to left: barrel and barge dock; and salt water pumphouse. White sand area is dredgings from docks and channel. Square building across from pumphouse is "barrel house building." Area in extreme lower right is where old Battery X was built to cook off Mexican Crude. On right is Black Duck Bay with storage tanks for Sun Oil Company and Isenhour House in clump of trees on shoreline. Open area is now part of old East Baytown subdivison and Britton-Cravens addition. Goose Creek oil field and Goose Creek stream are in upper right. Homes in upper portion are in Pelly and Goose Creek. Houses just above sandy area in middle left are Texaco houses bought from Texas Company for Company houses, later moved from middle of fairways of old Baytown Country Club. Trees on extreme left are site of Baytown Junior High School in 1968.
