Centennial pageant technical crew; An elaborate system of lighting effects, special sound equipment, a telephone communication system for the technicians and directors, and a string of powerful floodlights for a curtain between scenes, completed the setup of mechanical equipment equal to the magnitude of the undertaking. James G. Blount and Karl Love Springer, assisted by a corps of technicians, had charge of the lighting effects. The sound equipment was in the charge of H.S. Keith.
