Commander H.L. Rich of Houston, left, presents a Veterans of World War I citation to Mayor Seaborn Cravey to thank Baytown for serving as the host city for the District 8-22 convention. Some 140 persons attended the convention Saturday at the Community Building. Sam King, right, is commander of the Baytown Barracks of WWI veterans. Among speakers at the convention was State Commander Miles Wasson of Houston. (Seaborn Cravey was mayor from 1965-1969.)
